I’ve known Meghan and Ben for years, but I’ve been lucky to open a lot of time with them together since I shot their 2014 wedding, and the 2015 wedding of her best friend. These two are delightful company and incredibly stylish—as you can see. Meghan LOVES christmas, Colorado winters, and hot chocolate—all of which we incorporated into this cozy winter maternity shoot. Photographed in Boulder’s Flatiron Mountains, we picked a windy, yet beautiful day. I can’t wait to meet baby in February!
If you are looking for inspiration for how to dress beautifully for your family photos—Look no further. This family is a five-person team of awesomeness in a lot of areas of life (I met them when all but the youngest were helping to co-ordinate a spectacular wedding I photographed back in July) For today’s purposes, I’ll stick to pointing out how stylish they are.
For our shoot, we spent a chilly but pretty morning in Denver’s Cheeseman park and then popped into Cap Hill’s Thump Coffee for a latte. I had a great time with the Trujillos and I hope to see much more of them in the future!
When you have five kids, the goofiness level can get pretty high. Fortunately for the adorable Hupkas, goofiness was a huge plus and we laughed all the way through the shoot. Take a peek at this set and enjoy their awesome faces and the last of the fall colors this year in Golden.
Alexis is the rare, firey, self-possessed high school girl who knows who she is and what she wants. For our shoot, we visited her uncle's insanely cool ranch in Hudson, CO. Alexis wanted her photos to tell her own story so we made sure to include the beautiful white vinyl horse fences and colorful barn on the ranch. She also wanted to show off her love for her immaculately kept truck, as well as how badass she looks in her riding jacket. We had a great time laughing through the shoot for a couple hours on a cloudy July morning. Enjoy your Senior year, Alexis!
Two years ago I was lucky to get to know this beautiful couple at their wedding on Coors Field. I was thrilled when Jenn contacted me a few weeks ago to do a family photoshoot on the occasion of their handsome son, Mason's first birthday. We let him smash a cake at the end for good measure. Thanks again, Jenn and Joe! I love watching your family grow.
